2-Man Scramble - June 1 - SOLD OUT
Innerkip Highlands Golf Club is hosting a one-day, 18-hole 2-Man Scramble event. Registration is $150 (including HST) per person. This includes entry to the event, 18 holes of golf with power carts, a delicious meal afterward, and the chance to win prizes.
Participants must be an Innerkip Highlands Club Card holder or member to take part in this event.
Tee times range from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, and specific tee times will be emailed to participants before the event. Tee time preferences will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis upon registration.
Registration for the tournament closes at the end of business on May 18th, 2024, or when the event is fully booked. This event is SOLD OUT but more events are coming!
Format:
Key rules to remember:
- Players can place their ball within one club length of the selected spot, as long as it's not closer to the hole.
- The ball must remain in the same type of grass as the marker; for instance, you cannot move the ball from the rough to the fairway.
- Groups are required to use the orange tee decks, but individuals over the age of 65 have the option to use the white tee decks.
- You must use at least 3 tee shots from each player
Bracketed Match Play - June 10 - Aug 15
Innerkip Highlands Golf Club is hosting a bracketed event. Registration of $50 (plus HST) includes entry to the event and prizes. Participants must schedule their round of golf with their competitor by the deadline and individually purchase each round of golf. Carts can be used.
Participants MUST be an Innerkip Highlands Club Card holder or member to take part in this event.
Registration for the tournament closes at the end of business on May 20th, 2024, or when the event is fully booked.
Bracketed Match Play Guidelines
Match play is a format of golf where a player plays directly against an opponent in a head-to-head match with their scores being adjusted net of their handicap. You win a hole by completing it in the fewest number of strokes, and you win a match when you are winning by more holes than remain to be played. You (or your opponent) may concede a stroke, a hole, or even the match to each other. If your next stroke has been conceded, you are permitted to putt out. You are required to book your tee times with your competitor in the allotted time frame (Missed rounds will result in disqualification).
- Round 1: June 10 - June 22
- Round 2: June 24 - July 6
- Round 3: July 8 - July 20
- Round 4: July 22 - Aug 3
- Round 5: Aug 8 - Aug 15
