2024 Club Championships

The competition for the Club Championships at Innerkip Highlands Golf Club is a two-day, 36-hole, flighted event.

The 2024 Innerkip Highlands Golf Club Championships have concluded and we witnessed some fantastic golf. It’s a true testament to the skill and dedication of our players.

First, we want to thank our sponsor, Baden Coffee Company, (Charlie and Barbara Burke). Their ongoing support, particularly through the Pipeline coffee program, has made a significant impact on junior golf in our community. Their commitment ensures that the future of golf here at Innerkip Highlands and beyond is bright.

We want to acknowledge the incredible team effort that made this event such a resounding success. A big thank you to Kent Rimmer, Isaiah Mackey, and the entire maintenance team for keeping our course in pristine condition and for their special attention to detail for this weekend. To Beth Allan, Liberty Walker, and their F&B team for ensuring everyone was supplied with food and drink through the weekend and to Daryl Hunter, Hailey Scott, and the Golf Services team for their seamless coordination and support.

Finally, to all the players—whether this was your first competitive round or your hundredth—thank you for challenging yourselves and contributing to the spirit of this championship.

“D" Flight

• Drew Stoltz and Gerry Nugent tied for second at +19 for the event.
• Our winner with a score of +12 for the event is Ryan Gruhle.

"C" Flight

• In Third place is Keith Schappert with +17 
• In Second place is Joel Rose with +16
• The top spot goes to Gord Chatha with an overall of +13

"B" Flight

• In third place with a score of +11 for the event is Shane Burnham.
• In second with a score of +8 for the event is James Mason.
• In first place Barry Foster with a score of +7 for the event.

Women's Flight (Net Scoring)

• Tied for 3rd place are Cindy Dunham and Debbie Chubb both with a tournament score of Even
• Second place was Paula Charlton, who scored -3 for the weekend.
• Wendy Dobson takes home the Women’s flight champion with a 2-day total of -14

Champion Flight

• In third place with a score of +1 for the weekend is Brett MacDonald
• In second place with a score of even par for the weekend is Dave Drago.
• In the Championship Flight winner, with -4 tournament 2-day score is Charlie Burke.
